About the West End Festival 2010

- DUNDEE WESTFEST is a community led initiative in the West End of Dundee which aims to celebrate the area's diverse culture and vibrant community spirit. A week-long Festival will centre around five themes: art, drama, environment, history and music, culminating with a parade and party. The festival is open to all who want to take part whether that is a small community group, individual artists / performers, local residents and large organisations who are active in art, drama, environment, history and music. The objective is to harness the skills and enthusiasm of people in the West End to create a memorable and enjoyable festival which will generate benefits for the residents of the west end, visitors to the city and local businesses. The first festival will take place 20 -27 June 2010 and be an annual event thereafter.
